Every Other Day Diet ReviewSo what exactly is Jon Benson’s Every Other Day Diet?

The ‘Every Other Day Diet’ is a comprehensive guide on how to change your eating habits in order to lose weight fast by fitness and nutritional expert, Jon Benson.

The Every Other Day Diet uses an approach that it is not often seen in the “easy diets” industry. Having been obese himself, Jon tried to develop a diet that has one major upside: It is useable for a long time. The foundation of this diet is the “alternate day diet” approach. It has a very high success rate with dieters since they aren’t forced to give up the foods they love. Sure you can’t eat whatever you want all the time, and the diet days are actually very strategically planned to ensure the best results possible. But even on the strictest diet plan in the book (the book offers 5 different approaches), you are allowed to have your favorite pizza or pasta at least once a week.

One of the most innovative things I learned from reading Jon Benson’s book was the SNAPP System of Eating.

Now while eating whatever you want, whenever you want isn’t the best approach (Let’s face it: You have tested it, I have tested it and it NEVER works!), being on a strict diet plan is a pain. You always have to remember exactly when to eat and what to eat, carrying diet schedules with you wherever you go. SNAPP takes care of this. It tells you exactly what to eat, and when to eat it.

The method is really designed to implement this diet into you day to day life. I have read a lot of books over the last few months on this specific topic (how to lose weight fast) and don’t get me wrong, I read some super material. However, this was the first guide that offered such a simple system to help you remember all the foods you should eat and when you should eat them.

Here’s exactly how ‘SNAPP’ works:

Now SNAPP is a copyright protected system, so I will try to tell you as much as possible without breaking the law. See, SNAPP is a system that helps you to plan your meals in a way that you eat the right things at the right time without a lot of planning. Follow it, and you will eat you meals at the right time and in the right amounts. You will get enough carbs, protein, fiber and all of the other good stuff.

Each letter of “SNAPP” stands for one of the meals you should consume over the day. Shake, Nuts, Apples, Protein and Produce. Eaten in this order your diet is not only optimized for you to lose weight fast, but also as simple as it can possibly be.

The beauty of the system is how easy it is to implement. You are not required to put everything you eat on a scale. Jon offers you a very easy approach to find out how much you should eat each meal.

I have read a lot of books on weight lose, and I have learned a lot from them. But this is bare none the simplest system I have ever read, and a real golden nugget. It helps that this diet works, too.

What I didn’t like about the Every Other Day Diet?

Nothing is perfect, and there are a couple of things I didn’t like about this book as well. Here they are:

  • Jon is very straight forward in the beginning. You will need to take full responsibility for the shape you are in right now. This might seem very UNFAIR to some readers who feel that they are genetically predisposed to being fat. However, Jon also points out that he was in this position as well and that it is possible to change!
  • Jon has VERY unorthodox methods, these really are NOT your typical methods you hear about when it comes to losing weight fast.  I can see many readers being slightly overwhelmed with some of the things Jon advises you should do to get in shape.

What are the GOOD things about the Every Other Day Diet?

  • It is a very easy, yet extremely enjoyable read. Jon has a great writing style and his experience as a nutritionist really shines through.
  • Jon offers you 5 individual eating plans, guaranteeing to meet your own personal needs. From a very simple starter plan to a plan for athletes, it is all there.
  • It literally takes 5 minutes to figure out your exact food requirements, and SNAPP makes your whole diet, well, a snap.
  • Should you decide to complement your diet with some workouts, the system comes with a full workout program. The theme stays the same: The biggest effects in the shortest amount of time. The workout system requires you to only work out 7(!) minutes a day. I tried it, and I can tell you it is tough. But it is also great to be in and out of the gym in 7 minutes!

Conclusion: What do I think?

In my opinion, the Every Other Day Diet is the best non fluff guide out there if you are looking to change your eating habits once and for all and lose weight fast. Jon, the author Every Other Day Diethas an impressive background as a fitness coach and personal trainer and it does show. What is even cooler is that Jon was once obese as well, so he can really show you what to do to get rid of your excess fat.
The guide is full of unorthodox techniques to attack your fat cells. In fact, I was able to take a couple of golden nuggets I could use in my own diet away from it (and that’s after reading 20+ guides on how to lose weight fast in the past few months alone!). If you finally want to get the body you deserve and change your bad eating habits once and for all than I truly feel that this is the guide you should pick up!
You won’t regret it!

I hope my homepage has helped you,
Dieter

EXPOSED: The 6 Most Common Dietary Lies

When it comes to losing weight fast, there are literally thousands of myths out there. The most popular is probably “All fat people eat too much!” Even though this is true in most cases, there are recorded cases where obese people eat just as much as their thin counterparts. Why is this the case? There are several reasons, but a common one is that people have slowed down their metabolism to such an extent, mostly through dozens of low-calorie diets, that they can eat as little as they want AND STILL don’t lose fat.

But why is it that Jon Benson tries to bust the most common myths when it comes to “how to lose weight” quick in his program, Every Other Day Diet?

Well, he says that, in order to defeat an enemy you must know ALL its weaknesses. Some myths and urban legends are holding us back when it comes to losing weight, so it’s time to get rid of them once and for all. That exactly what I am about to do in this article!

1) I can’t be fat, I am a size 4

Well, guess what: Size doesn’t matter! At least in this case. The only thing that matters is your body fat percentage. With other words the percentage of fat to lean muscle you are carrying around.
There are people that have a 30-inch waistline, who still carry around 30% body fat. How? The fat is distributed ABOVE their waist. It is called skinny fat, and believe me it the skinny part is not the word that describes this person best…

2) I am very athletic and ripped. I mean, I run marathons!

This is an extreme example (although one based on real life), but it should show you a popular misconception. Being in shape has lots of meanings. Just because you are in good cardiovascular shape does not mean that you are not fat and vice versa.

I am talking from personal experience here: My father rides his bike for AT LEAST 80 miles every week, yet he is more than 40 pounds overweight. Yet he thinks he is in good shape, and all my affords to convince him to finally change his diet have failed so far. I will never stop trying though…

3) “I swallowed a lot of anger over the years”

Emotions can affect a lot of things. But there is one thing it can’t affect for sure: the way your body processes calories.

See, the reason a lot of people gain weight when they are emotionally stressed is because the implement bad eating habits. Those make you fat.

4) My parents are both fat, so I MUST be fat too!
One of my closest friends has parents who are both obese, but yet he managed to be skinny and ripped. Yes, those are his real parents and his siblings are all overweight as well.

How he did it? He just decided that he was not FORCED to be fat, and took his life into his own hands. He changed his diet and started working out.

See, most of the time, being fat is not genetically predetermined. If your parents are obese, chances are they have some very bad eating habits. And chances are that they handed them over to their kids as well. But that’s where the story ends. Nobody forces you to keep these bad eating habits. Just change them. Sure, your parents might tell you that you are just wasting your time. But should you really listen to their expertise on that topic?

5) I am just heavy boned…

This is Eric Cartman’s favorite excuse. And guess what: It is completely wrong. First of all, nobody has bones that make their belly look fat. NOBODY. Having large bones is actually a good thing. It means that you naturally carry around more muscle than people with smaller bones do. More muscle means that more calories are burned around the clock.

6) I have a thyroid condition

Do you? Guess what, my girlfriend does so too. So does my father. My girlfriend went to the doctor to get it fixed. She is in great shape, and I guess it helps that I do the shopping and cooking in the house. So her eating habits are good.

My father on the other hand says he can’t lose weight due to “his condition”. He doesn’t take medicine, but goes on “fast diets” or crash diets every once in a while. After each one of these diets he regains all the weight he lost before and then some. He says it’s because of his thyroid, I think it is because he eats twice as much as he should and most foods he eats are garbage. You be the judge…

In this article I have tried to give you an overview of the 6 most common myths when it comes to losing weight and I have tried to dismiss them and expose them for what they are: myths. 95% of obesity can be reversed by simply implementing some changes to your diet. Change your lifestyle when it comes to eating and you will soon see how everything else follows: Your body, your energy levels, and your lifespan.

Make sure to check my next article, as this will be my long overdue Every Other Day Diet Review!

Some Shocking Facts About The Diet Industry – Inspired by Jon Benson’s Every Other Day Diet

When I started reading through the manual of the Every Other Day Diet yesterday, I discovered a nice story that I think is worth sharing.

In this story, Jon Benson compares our modern world with the Wild West. What I mean by “compares them” is, that he tried to point out that, even though we have all the options in the world right now when it comes to food and a healthy lifestyle, we are actually in worse shape than our ancestors in the Wild West time.

Statistics show that the world is getting fatter and fatter. Countries with at least one-fifth of their adult population registering a BMI (body mass index) over 30—a number that defines clinical obesity—include the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Greece, New Zealand, and many others.

That results in a massive health risk, but that’s not all there is to it. Our weight also influences our income. A study conducted in 2004 showed, that the size of peoples waistlines and the size of our income grow in OPPOSITE directions. Talking about “I can’t afford a diet”! The truth is: You CAN NOT afford not to!

But what is our response as a society to face this problem? We enable people to gain even more weight! Sometimes it appears as if society attempts to establish massive body fat as the new desired way of life.

Need examples? How about the “Plus-Size Yellow Pages”, a telephone book specially created to offer overweight people everything their heart desires. Need a scale that goes up to a thousand pounds? No problem, AmpleStuff.com has one for you. A lot of American airlines are under pressure from obesity advocate groups. Why you ask? Because those airlines should have bigger seats or AT LEAST offer “bigger” customers two seats for the price of one. Can you believe that?

Another response? A ton of fast diets and easy diets. See, the “How to lose weight fast” industry is huge now. Everything goes. Starting with 7 day crash diets to snake poison.

There is something a lot of these products have in common: Even though they want you to lose weight fast, they don’t want you to lose weight consistently. Think about it: If most products out there would help you to lose weight fast AND consistently, do you think there would be a multi-billion dollar supplement industry? Hardly.

What most of this products want is that you lose some weight on one of their fast diets, but regain it again right after you stop dieting. Why would you stop? Well, most of the “easy diets” out there are so strict that it is close to impossible to keep them going for any prolonged period of time. But that’s fine, since you had some early success with the methods. That will make you come back for more, and the “how to lose weight fast” industry grows richer and richer.

The solution to this problem? A diet that does not only work short time, but that can become a new lifestyle. That’s exactly what the Every Other Day Diet promises. It is an alternate day diet that allows you to eat your favorite food AT LEAST once a week.

To find out if the product delivers on that promise, come back soon to read my Every Other Day Diet Review. Does the Every Other Day Diet work? I will tell you in my honest and unbiased review.

Till then,
Dieter

Fatloss Misconceptions Uncovered

You will find many misconceptions around fatloss as well as weight problems. Probably the most popular is the fact that obese people simply eat an excessive amount of. Generally this is correct. In some instances however obese people don’t consume more food than people whose bodyweight is recognized as normal. Some eat so very little that their metabolism slows lower and begins the body fat storage cycle in your body. You will find also a number of hormonal and mental factors that induce issues that result in weight problems and putting on weight.

Lots of people carry an excessive amount of body fat without having to be scientifically obese. These people might not be also overweight. I’ve measured your body body fat of models who have been rail thin yet had body body fat blood pressure measurements over 30 %. Several people claim that they can have healthy dietplans and take part in energetic exercise, however their physiques to betray their values.

If you’re overweight, odds are great that you could manage the problem. Despite strong genetics toward excess body fat storage, weight problems in over 90-5 % of weight problems could be corrected with easy change in lifestyle. Rarely is surgical procedures or drugs an essential alternative. Even if this kind of extreme is known as for, change in lifestyle continue to be mandatory for lengthy-term health insurance and weight loss.

New Rules

It “Fight Club”, that was converted into a movie in 1999, had a fascinating method of getting rid of the half-hearted using their rather extreme but effective clique. Among the principle figures, Tyler Durden, offered the group an easy listing of rules to follow along with. You had been in both or out–there is no middle ground. I figured it might be humorous to talk about his do or die rules along with you:

1.You do not request questions.

2.You do not request questions. (repeated two times for emphasis)

3.No excuses.

4.No lies.

5.You need to trust Tyler.

Have you been glad i’m not Tyler?

All kidding aside, the guidelines above have a little of animal knowledge within them. While I’m not counseling you to definitely cease asking them questions (actually, I advise the alternative when it involves achieving existence-lengthy motivation), I’m suggesting that you stop driving yourself crazy searching for the perfect dietplan and begin using practical recommendations like I’ll cover within the Every Other Day Diet plan. Everybody wants that secret plan or miracle pill which will finish our weight reduction worries. I could save you the suspense and let you know that which you most likely know–it doesn’t exist.

There’s information that you simply presently don’t know. Once revealed, that information can have the symptoms of been a “secret”. The truth is, a secret’s just something you didn’t know a couple of seconds prior to being revealed for you. By using their definition, you’re going to learn many secrets. A number of them goes against the usual understanding. I’m requesting your open-minded consideration, as well as for explore to speak yourself too much of beginning new things from analysis paralysis.

Should you choose only search and request, you won’t ever find and apply.

When folks get my book “The Every Other Day Diet plan”, I request these phones do one factor, first of all: Apply the concepts. Don’t simply see clearly. I really want you to complete as Judge Reinhold’s character in Fast Occasions at Ridgemont High recommended–”Learn it. Realize it. Live it.”

For the “no excuses” and “no lies” bit, I believe that stands by itself. We now have made a lot of excuses previously. We now have lied to ourselves about our true desires too. Consider it. You may not “love” pizza…or would you love your loved ones?

The little lies we tell ourselves can significantly affect our subconscious. The subconscious knows no distinction between fact and fiction. The final factor for you to do is constantly trick yourself with apparently innocent slang. You don’t love pizza. Get ready to enjoy pizza, without a doubt, however, you cannot like it. Your subconscious can really begin to reply to “loving pizza” and improve your craving for this (or any food) through the association it already needs to the term “love”. In the end, it is common to crave much more of what we should constantly tell our minds we like.

Are you able to begin to see the potential danger in self-deceptiveness, even if it seems innocent at first glance?

Likewise, you don’t hate yourself. You’re most likely at all like me. I hated my condition, but I loved myself enough to wish to alter it. I didn’t have my self. Doesn’t this seem a lot more like the reality for you?

Try saying this out-noisy:

“I really like myself a lot which i now demand a existence of health, vitality, and leanness!”

That’s the reality! That’s what you want. Forget about lies with no more excuses. They simply fuel the fires that burn in troubled hillsides.

So far as trust can be involved, all I request is you trust that little voice inside. This is actually the voice of reason why can frequently be moderate through the noise in our daily lives and our pre-designed solutions which are more denial than fact. You can rely on that I’ve been where you stand and also have assisted 1000′s reach where you need to go. But I don’t understand all the solutions. Nobody does.

What I know is how you can assist you to uncover the solutions that actually work good for you. While using recommendations in this book, you’ll find most, if not completely of individuals solutions. You are able to put an finish towards the excuses and also the self-deceptiveness.

You can begin to savor existence again. And, you can begin today.

How You Can Eat Your Favorite Food and STILL Lose Weight – Inspired by Jon Benson’s Every Other Day Diet

I have been reading through Jon Benson’s Every Other Day Diet and I discovered the answer to an interesting question. Why does a diet stop working? Or in other words, why is it that a person starts a diet, and stops it a couple of weeks or months later WITOUT reaching the results the person dreamed of?

According to Jon Benson, the reason is neither discipline nor frustration or similar things. In his opinion it is one big thing: “Love”.

A lack of love to be more precise. See, whenever you are about to do something life changing, one big aspect that can make or break your plans is whether you LOVE the new thing you are doing. Dieting is no different. Unless you actually love the diet you are on, chances are you are not going to stay on it for very long.

And this is exactly where most diet plans fail. They demand way too much from the dieter up front, often prohibiting them to eat certain foods or food groups.

“This is a disaster waiting to happen… and there is a much more balanced, healthy and effective way to diet than this,” states Benson.

Jon knows what he is talking about. A mere 10 years ago he was what he describes as the “typical American male”. Overworked. Over-Stressed. Overweight.

Along with that came all the associated disease states such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides (a type of blood fat) and of course massive amounts of “stress fat” around the belly and chest region.

Jon decided to change. And as we all once did in our life’s he went the path of MOST destruction. He started a “perfect” diet. Only eating a limited amount of allowed food, he soon grew sick of all the dry chicken and oat meal. I know what you think “Been there, done that”.

Jon started and stopped this kind of diet more than 10 times before he realized that he won’t manage to lose weight this way. To big was the graving for the food he loved. To big was the urge to have a pizza or some pasta.

That was when Jon started to experiment with so called alternate day diets. He only stuck to a per build meal plan every other day, while he ate whatever he wanted on the other days. At first, this attempt didn’t work. Even though he didn’t gain any additional weight, he didn’t lose any either.

Back to the drawing board. His next step was to implement an old “cavemen” secret. He strategically planned some protein intake in order to speed up his metabolism. He also increased the amount of meals he had each day, and BOOM: That was the winning formula.
